The forecast looked very ominous for last Saturday, rain spreading in from the South West with strong winds with it, it didn't look good.
Come Saturday morning the forecast looked correct, cold with showers, however this didn't dampen the day one bit for Nicola and Jamie. They had their ceremony at the Old Kirk in Kilmacolm with the reception at Finlaystone House. Two beautiful venues.
Jamie's armada of Ushers did their best to keep the couple dry when leaving the Kirk and we managed to get some lovely autumnal portrait shots in the gardens, before heading indoors for a great evening of fine speeches and dancing.

Okay, I know it's only mid October but I need to let you know about the delivery times for our Bellissimo Album Range.
If you are wishing to place an album order to be delivered in time for Christmas, the album design needs to be signed off and payed for by the 1st of December. To get to that stage I will need your picture selections sent to me by mid November at worst so I can get the initial proofs produced for your approval.
Photographic print orders can be placed on the website upto the 17th of December to guarantee Christmas delivery. Canvas prints will take at least 3 weeks to deliver so please place your orders before the 1st of December.

I love East Lothian especially when the sun shines at it did for Kate & Dominic's wedding at Aberlady on Saturday. I am originally from East Lothian and head back to the east side of Edinburgh as often as I can. The village lifestyle and fantastic Golf courses make for a very relaxing place to be, so when Kate & Dominic asked me to take their wedding pictures at Aberlady I jumped at the chance. The weather could have been anything at this time of year, but the clouds parted and gave some warm late afternoon sun that certainly helped the pictures.

I had not been to Troon before other than to play a very bad round of golf once, so I was really looking forward to Ashleigh & Barry's wedding. The venue was the Piersland Hotel, a lovely Georgeon building located opposite the Championship Course. It really was a lovely venue, with lots of Autumn sunshine it made for a very special afternoon for Ashleigh and Barry's family and friends.

Saturday was a long day covering Sarah & Jamie's Wedding in Campbeltown. A 15 hour day that was very tiring but also very rewarding with some lovely moments captured throughout the day.
Their ceremony was at the Lorne & Lowland Church followed by a reception at Sarah's parents house, which had an enormous Marquee on the front lawn.
The day went without a hitch, well apart from the generator packing up for 30mins in the middle of the speeches, so they were concluded under candle light.
