When Anne phoned me up and asked if I could photograph her wedding at Glengoyne Distillery, it didn't take me long to say, of I course I will. She was explaining that that it was just a small wedding and that they were both retired before she realised it was already a done deal.
I had driven past Glengoyne Distillery so many times over the years but had never stopped or even thought to have stopped to have a look around and learn more about this Highland Whisky being made just north of Glasgow so I was jumping at the chance to photograph a wedding their.
All the planning that Anne & John had put in place, came to fruition on the day, it was a very relaxed afternoon with close family and friends.
I have to say for small weddings this is a fantastic venue, very homely, warm and snug and with the opportunity of a whisky tour, makes this a very unique setting.
