I received a lovely letter from Lorna & Jamie Thorburn at the weekend, I photographed their wedding at Ardanaiseig Hotel back in March.

Back To Normal

The problems we had at the end of last week have been sorted out and everything is back to normal.

Website Disruption

It appears the flash section of the website for broadband users is having a few problems at the moment. The hosting company based in the USA are trying to get things fixed but this seems to be a problem affecting lots of companies.

Just as well I still have the html site along side on the splash page, this site holds all the same info and pictures as the flash version, click here to enter the site.

New Gallery Pages

I am always trying to keep the wedding website updated to make it easier for potential clients to find the information they want. This year I have had several enquiries to view complete weddings instead of just viewing the portfolio pages of the site, to which I have supplied them access to past weddings.

However to help everybody make a more informed choice of wedding photographer, I have now removed the generic portfolio pictures and released six complete weddings for viewing. Ok they are edited to about 40 pictures per wedding (compared to the 300-400 pictures you would receive), but the style, consistency and quality of my photography is shown throughout.

Kate & Andrew

Kate & Andrew only got engaged in January but in that time they managed to organise a fantastic day for their family & friends to be part of.
They were married in Mochrum Parish Church which is south of Stranraer with the reception at their parents house right on the sea front near by.

Most of the garden had been covered by a large marquee that encompassed most of the garden features, helping to bring the outdoors indoors which made for a very unique setting, I have never seen large pampas grass and boulders as part of a reception before!

It really was a great day, the weather wasn't fantastic but that didn't really matter to them at all, all that was important was that they and their friends had a fantastic day to remember.
