Holly & Chris - Turnberry Hotel

This was my first wedding at Turnberry and what a great day it turned out to be. The hottest day of the year, clear skys and no rain!
Turnberry is a fantastic venue for a wedding, great views over the golf course and the Irish Sea allowing for great natural light to help create wonderful images. We managed to get down to the lighthouse just before we lost the sun which have created some memorable pictures.

Nicola & Andrew - St Margarets & The Hilton Glasgow

I arrived at Nicola's house a little early on Saturday morning, a little too early as she was still at the hairdressers. I didn't have to wait long before rolled into her drive way with her bridesmaids. Nice car I thought a BMW 3 series convertible, one of her bridesmaids then told me that Andrew had just bought her it as a wedding present. Not bad at all.
What a great day they had, St Margarets is a stunning church and made my job so much easier as it is very light inside. Their reception was at the Hilton in Glasgow, the staff were fantastic and made everything run like clockwork for them, not easy with 180 guests!

Daniella & Jonathan - Garnethill Synagogue & Culzean Castle

This was the longest coverage I have ever done. From leaving for the brides house until getting home in at 1am a full 14.5 hrs, and the reception was only in Ayr!

Daniella & Jonathan couldn't have picked a better day, the weather was fantastic and the day was full of excitement and emotion, a photographers dream. With Culzean Castle as the backdrop for their reception, their guests were able to relax outside in the evening sunshine and even do some wildlife spotting with Otters and Basking Sharks swimming around the rocky shoreline below the Castle.

Laura & Paul - St Augustine's Church & St Andrews in the Square.

Laura and Paul beat the weather last Friday and had a great day. St Augustine's in Coatbridge is a lovely church, and St Andrews in the Square is a fantastic venue for a reception.
Once they were all settled in at St Andrews the heavens opened, great timing again.

Dafna & David - Garnethill Synagogue

This was my first Jewish wedding and what a great experience it was. Ritual, tradition, emotion, fun the day had it all, a great celebration for Dafna, David and their families.

Iona & Murray - Craignish Village Hall, Argyll

Back up in Argyll at the weekend for Iona and Murray's big day. I met up with Iona at home in Lochgilphead before the ceremony at Bellanoch Church. She was very nervous but really had no need to be, the rain cleared and it turned out to be wonderful day for them both.
With their close friends and family around them at the small church beside the Crinan Canal they tied the knot and then headed up to Ardfern for their reception where many other guests arrived to help celebrate their marriage, way into the night.
