Nothing To Do Wedding Photography

I just wanted to show these pictures. The weather has turned a bit wintry up here this week mix that in with Autumns colours that are still on show you get some super colourful landscapes. I thought I would take a few days out of the office and go and do some landscape work.
The pictures are taken at Loch Lomond, Glasgow Clydeside, Rannoch Moor and Glen Etive.

Christmas Delivery

Christmas, there I have said it.

The final date for album designs to be signed off in time for Christmas delivery will be the 1st of December. If you are deciding on your selections for an album at the moment please also allow a few weeks for the design process. This means I require your selections by mid November.

Print orders can still be placed up to Thursday the 11th of December for delivery within the UK.

Fiona & David - Colinton Parish Church & Dalmahoy Hotel

What a day Fiona & David had on Saturday. I caught up with Fiona at her parents house before the ceremony where they were all having a sip or two of champagne. It wasn't long before the emotions of the day were being shown by everybody, with plenty of tears being shed. After the ceremony and lots more tears Fiona & David emerged into the church yard full of Fiona's pupils from the primary school where she works. Very excited children, and great fun. It was then onto Dalmahoy Country Club for their drinks reception & dinner.

Achnagairn House

I photographed a wedding at Achnagairn House during the summer, a great day that included a wonderful fireworks display in the evening. The owners of the house contacted recently and asked if they could use some of my pictures for their new website as they thought my work during the day was "stunning". The new website is being launched soon and I am please to say that I am now an official supplier to the venue.

This was my first wedding at Achnagairn, and I have to say it is now one of my favourite venues. The house has been specifically designed to suit functions and can only be booked completely per function. For weddings this works perfectly as most of your guests can stay over the weekend and feel part of the the big. The grand hall is just the perfect reception setting, with lots of natural light and a balcony to shoot from creating more picture opportunities.

Julie & Darren - Glasgow University Chapel & Oran Mor Glasgow

Glasgow University Chapel & Oran Mor in Glasgow's west end are probably my favorite venues in Glasgow to photograph weddings. They are both visually stunning buildings so when Julie & Darren asked me to capture their big day I was thrilled.

The weather really didn't play ball, it was very wet in the morning, but it didn't really matter, a quick sprint and we managed to grab a few portrait pictures in the shelter of The Cloisters at the University.
