When Anne phoned me up and asked if I could photograph her wedding at Glengoyne Distillery, it didn't take me long to say, of I course I will. She was explaining that that it was just a small wedding and that they were both retired before she realised it was already a done deal.
I had driven past Glengoyne Distillery so many times over the years but had never stopped or even thought to have stopped to have a look around and learn more about this Highland Whisky being made just north of Glasgow so I was jumping at the chance to photograph a wedding their.
All the planning that Anne & John had put in place, came to fruition on the day, it was a very relaxed afternoon with close family and friends.
I have to say for small weddings this is a fantastic venue, very homely, warm and snug and with the opportunity of a whisky tour, makes this a very unique setting.

Okay, the good news is coming thick and fast this week.

I have had a look at the structure of the Pick and Mix package that I offer and have decide to break it down and start again. Before, the package was to select an amount of photography coverage at a set fee and then decide on how you would like your photographs presented after you have viewed your proofs. This helped spread costs over a longer period of time which was helpful when working around budgets.

The new release of Pick and Mix allows you to book my photography by the hour instead of the set amounts as before. You can then create your own package by choosing an album or any combination of printed products, either before or after the wedding. It's completely up to you what you want.

I have just released a new range of framed prints available now through the online ordering system. They are available in two sizes 8 x 6 and 10 x 8 inches in either black or silver frame mouldings. Before being added to the frame the print is mounted on card and laminated with a durable satin heat seal. The frames comes with a strut back allowing use for both vertical and horizontal photographs.

Over the last few months I have had a few enquirys from couples asking for a more traditional style of wedding album to hold their photographs. The Bellissimo range of albums that I currently produce are a little more contemporary than the traditional album, so I thought I would do some homework to try and find a classic album that can still be designed around your input and allow for changes to be made and viewed online.

The result of this process has been to start to work with Jorgensen Albums of Australia. The albums are traditional matted albums but each album will still be a bespoke one off design. The designs will be enhanced with either a black mat board with a white bevel core or a solid white mat beveled core board, page edge binding and metal page corners, producing a stunning, classic, elegant wedding album.

I will be producing a 30 page 12 x 12 leather cover album within a package but there are so many variables on cover design & materials, page numbers, album size etc, really any album can be created for your photographs.
