Voted In The Top 10 Wedding Photographers

I was contacted recently by Randolph Quan an international award winning photographer based in London. He puts together an annual list of who he thinks is the top 10 wedding photographers in the country and this year he placed me 7th, which I am extremely happy and proud to be mentioned in.

The other places are full of internationally renowned photographers, so I am keeping in good company.

Eilidh & Chris - Eilean Donan Castle

Well the weather forecasters got it right for a change, wet windy and cold! Eilidh & Chris really had some foul weather but I have to say they did not care about that at all. They had prepared admirably for this possibility and had umbrellas and wellies at hand!
The rain did stop briefly when we were leaving Eilean Donan Castle for the reception at the Broadford Hotel on Skye, this allowed for some quickly organised portraits of them at the castle, something I didn't think we would get during the day.



I am still working on the pictures, but I should have them uploaded to the website by this evening or first thing tomorrow.

Eilean Donan Castle Wedding

This weekend is the first big wedding of the year, and there is no better place to start than at Eilean Donan Castle near Skye. The couple I am working with booked this weekend 18 months ago to make sure I could photograph their wedding day. I think I am looking forward to the weekend as much as they are.



I was hoping we had seen the last of the winter snow, but looking at the weather forecast we could be in for a bit more towards the North West during the weekend so we could end up with some interesting pictures during the day and at the reception in Broadford on Skye.

I will post some pictures of the wedding here next week.
