Just because it rains on your wedding day you shouldn't stop laughing and enjoying your day and that is exactly what Kara and Iain did on Saturday. The rain meant their plans for the ceremony to be in the gardens at Roman Camp Hotel were washed out, although it did stop in the evening to allow us outside for a few portraits down by the river.
From start to finish I didn't see them without a smile on their faces. They had organised such a relaxed informal day that was rounded off with some fantastic speeches and dancing by the bride and groom.

I received this lovely email from Eilidh & Chris yesterday whose wedding at Eilean Donan Castle I shoot in early March. They had ordered a Bellissimo Album to show of their wedding photographs that they received this week.

Just to say that our album arrived yesterday afternoon. Chris and I sat down last night and spent a good deal of time looking through it. It’s FANTASTIC! It has brought back so many lovely memories and reminded us of little things that happened on the day that we’d forgotten about (already!). Thank you so much once again for making our special day so pleasurable and producing such amazing pictures. We can’t wait to show our parents and friends.

Another road trip north, this time to Inverness to photograph Catherine & Jonathan's wedding. Their ceremony was at Ferintosh Free Church on the Black Isle, a lovely little church set in the countryside and then onto the New Drumossie Hotel for their reception. It was a lovely day, a bit breezy that created a few hair and veil issues, (but nothing Catherine's bridesmaids weren't prepared for) that was rounded off with a wonderfully choreographed dance by Catherine and Jonathan in the evening.
