Seamill Hydro Wedding Photography with Michelle & Mark

Seamill Hydro in North Ayrshire is another new venue for me this year and it was the setting for Michelle and Mark's wedding last weekend. The hotel backs on to the beach and has beautiful views across the water to Arran.

It was a fantastic day, full of emotion, excitement and laughter. The weather didn't quite behave itself as we had a very heavy shower come through just after the ceremony forcing the family / group photographs inside but by the evening we had some fine weather along with another shower brewing, allowing me to create some moody portraits before the evening entertainment started.

These are a few of my favourite photographs from the day, if you were a guest at the wedding and you would like to see a few more, please contact me.

Nick

A few weeks ago I was down in Ayrshire for the wedding of Sarah & Mark at Crosshill Village Church and Enterkine House Hotel. A fantastic day, Enterkine House did a great job of looking after Sarah & Mark and all their guests.

These are a few of favourite photos from the day, if you were a guest at the wedding and would like to see a few more, please get in touch.

Rowallan Castle Wedding Photography

I made a visit to Rowallan Castle during the week, to catch up with the new events and marketing team they now have in place. Christine the general manager had contacted me about using some photographs I had taken at Rowallan for use in their new wedding and events brochure, I was more than happy to oblige  and to be associated with the venue as I simply think it is one of the prettiest estates I have been to in all my years of photography weddings!

Rowallan has got to be the best kept secret when it comes to new venues now opening up for social and corporate events. It lends itself perfectly for weddings as you have not one but two castles to chose from (or use both) and is situated in the heart of Ayrshire only 25 minutes south of Glasgow. Both castles (13th and 19th century respectively) are nestled amongst cobbled bridges, flowing streams and lush woodland making the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.

Can you tell I like the place!?

The new castle can host weddings and receptions in the drawing room, library and dining rooms offering a grand backdrop for up to 80 seated guests, whilst the croquet lawn on the south side of the castle is the perfect marquee site offering capability for up to a 200 seated marquee.

If you are looking for a new and unique venue for your wedding, don't just look at Rowallan's website get in your car and go and have a look, it truly is a beautiful place. (Maybe phone them first and tell them your coming if you want to have a show around the castles though)!
