Royal Northern Yacht Club Wedding Photography with Karen and Mark

I had been looking forward to Karen & Mark's wedding ever since they asked me to photograph their big day. Both are very keen sailers which is how I have come to know them over the years. Karen whilst sailing on the Clyde when we were both slightly younger and Mark I met a few times whilst he was sailing 18ft Skiffs, the more memorable event was in Sydney during the worlds championships a few seasons back.

Apart from catching up with the bride and groom it was also great to see so many familiar faces that I hadn't seen for a while, all slightly older and some of the guys slighter rounder too! But what this proved was that Karen and Mark are without doubt one of the nicest couples you will ever meet and despite their family and friends maybe not seeing them as much as they used to, they were all totally delighted and proud to be part of their wedding day.
